Mega Plásticos was born with the purpose of supplying high quality products and materials to the market. Since its foundation, the company counts with a diverse line of products and services, among these the highlights such as non woven – tissue no tissue – (TNT) and needled or sewn polyester. They also occupy a large part of the production with the confection of synthetic laminates in PVC and polyurethane (PU). Over the years, its industrial park was diversified and currently it also counts with important line of polyester mesh, cotton, cardboard tubes, cardboard disc paper, stretch films, bubble wrap, PVC and polypropylene (PP) pigments, recycled products and complete solutions in transportation and logistics.

HISTORY

Strategically located in the central region of Mercosur, in a position almost equidistant from the main metropolitan centers of the region, the industrial facility stands out in the landscape of those who pass through the site, located in Minga Guazu - Paraguay.

It was in the 2000s that a young entrepreneur with great experience in the manufacture of synthetic laminates, encouraged by the beginning of the Paraguayan model (Maquila) and by the free trade bloc between the countries of South America (Mercosur), in the city of Minga Guazú - Paraguay, neighboring Foz de Iguazú - Brazil and Puerto Iguazú - Argentina, it acquired a site for the implementation of the industrial plant.

The first 10,000m² of built area were installed on a plot of more than 100,000m². Currently they add together more than 65,000m² of industrial warehouses that make up the manufacturing park where various products are produced such as synthetic laminates (PVC and PU), non-woven fabrics (Spunbond, Melt blown and Needle Punch), textile meshes, bubble plastic (PE) , stretch film (PE), cardboard tubes, ribbons, elastics, masks, headgear, pro pe, leito copper, blown film (PE), granulated compost and master batch (PVC, PP and PE), among other products.

With the passing of time and the development of Mercosur, Mega Plásticos has diversified and adapted to the needs of each country, taking into account the particularities of its customers, with a focus on service excellence and the development of high-quality products. .

For this reason, the growth of production and sales occurred in an expressive way, so that today we have hundreds of direct collaborators and thousands of indirect ones, making the known region an industrial pole, a center of opportunities and reference for the implementation of new industrial plants with an international focus.
